Report: Veterans Mike Pierce, Danny Castillo and eight other fighters culled from UFC roster

Well, they had a good run in the UFC but it looks like the ride is over for 10 fighters, according to Bloody Elbow.

As noted by Zane Simon, the fighters haven't been officially released, however this Twitter account runs a ruby script over the UFC.com roster to detect any changes when UFC updates its website.

Historically, when a fighter disappears it usually means that he's been released from his contract.

To that end, here is the list:

Some of these cuts make perfect sense, however it's the end of an era for a few big names.
