Report: UFC cuts 10 fighters, including 'Four Horsewomen' bantamweight

Three horsewomen?

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) gave mixed martial arts (MMA) fans yet another reason to hate Mondays, as 10 fighters were removed from the promotion's roster earlier this week, according to a list compiled by UFCFIGHTERSiNFO (via Bloody Elbow).

Among them is The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 20 contestant Shayna Baszler (15-10), who was bounced from the combat sports reality show by Julianna Pena. "The Queen of Spades," 34, was invited back to the Octagon; however, the "Four Horsewomen" founder was finished in back-to-back fights by Bethe Correia and Amanda Nunes.

Here is the complete list of recently-released fighters:

Tim Elliott
Dylan Andrews
Louis Gaudinot
Alptekin Ozkilic
Vik Grujic
Shayna Baszler
Shane Howell
Rocky Lee
Tateki Matsuda
Alexander Torres

Five combatants have been bounced from the flyweight division, which sounds like a lot, considering how thin the roster is at 125 pounds (see it).
