Report: UFC 202 Breaks Pay-Per-View Record with 1.65 Million Buys

UFC President Dana White says a trilogy bout between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz makes no sense. Recent pay-per-view projections indicate otherwise.

According to a report from MMAFighting.com , UFC 202 looks to be the Las Vegas-based promotion’s highest-selling event of all-time with approximately 1.65 million buys. That figure checks in slightly ahead of the two previous best draws: UFC 196 and UFC 100. The Aug. 20 event took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and was headlined by a welterweight rematch between McGregor and Diaz, which McGregor won via majority decision.
