Flyweight contender Rogerio Bontorin is all healed up from surgery.
After suffering a left ankle injury that required an operation and kept him away from the cage for six months, the Brazilian now has a date and a card to come back. Per Combate’s report, the 28-year-old is booked to take on Kai Kara-France at UFC 259.
Once scheduled to take on prospect Manel Kape back in August 2020, Rogerio Bontorin (16-2-1 NC) suffered an ankle injury during training. In his last outing, back in February of the same year, the Brazilian suffered his first ever Octagon loss when he dropped a unanimous decision to Ray Borg.
