Lightweight contender Renato Moicano will have to wait a little longer to step into the Octagon again. Fortunately, it will not have to be very long, should things go well.
In an interview with Youtube channel Punchline MMA, the Brazilian jiu-jitsu blackbelt revealed that a positive COVID-19 test forced his fight with Rafael Fiziev to be postponed for two weeks. Originally expected to fight on November 28, Moicano wil now have to wait until December 12, at UFC 256, to make his second Octagon appearance of 2020.
In his last outing, Moicano (14-3-1) moved up to the lightweight division, where he picked up a rear-naked choke submission win over Damir Hadzovic, back in March.
