After former NFL player Greg Hardy won his way into the UFC with a knockout victory on the Tuesday Night Contender Series, UFC president Dana White stated that he wanted Hardy back in the cage as soon as possible.
Unfortunately for him, a reported injury he picked up while playing arena football might change those plans.
According to ESPN, Hardy suffered a knee injury in the first quarter of his game with the Richmond Roughriders of the American Arena League. He is going to have the knee examined in the next few days, which will clear up the nature and severity of the injury.
