According to a report on FloCombat, the Bellator MMA debut for Kevin Ferguson Jr., the son of the late “Kimbo Slice,” has been postponed.
Ferguson Jr.’s scheduled opponent, Rick Bing, apparently is so egregiously overweight that the fight has been nixed. Ferguson Jr., who goes by the nickname “Baby Slice,” was scheduled to fight at welterweight, but Bing, who was also set to make his professional debut, was reportedly a staggering 25 pounds over the 170-pound weight limit Thursday afternoon.
Ferguson Jr. was originally slated to make his professional debut back in August at Bellator 160, but the Floridian was forced off the card due to an injury.
