UFC 248 has taken a big hit, as Jeremy Stephens has been forced out of his fight with Calvin Kattar due to injury.
MMA Junkie first announced the news, saying the bout is planned to be rescheduled on a later date, though the UFC is yet to make an official announcement. Stephens is yet to publicly acknowledge the injury that has forced him out of his UFC 248 fight with Kattar.
Stephens (28-17, 1NC) is without a win in the UFC in almost two years. After an accidental eye poke forced a no-contest in his fight with Yair Rodriguez last September, the two met again the following month when Stephens lost a hard fought unanimous decision.
