Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight and welterweight champion BJ Penn was recently cleared to return to mixed martial arts (MMA), but "The Prodigy" is not out of the woods just yet.
The promotion booked the Hawaiian for a featherweight bout against Dennis Siver at the upcoming UFC 199 pay-per-view (PPV) event in Los Angeles, Calif., after a third-party investigation failed to find any substantial facts to corroborate allegations of sexual assault.

But roughly one week after Penn got penciled in for June 4 in "The City of Angels," MMA Fighting brings word that police in Hilo, Hawaii, are launching an investigation into the alleged incident involving a former employee and his girlfriend.
