It looks like Gegard Mousasi's wish to fight Vitor Belfort will not be granted right now. Mousasi has been railing on Twitter for a while now to try to secure a matchup with the most recent title contender, but those requests have come and gone without a response. One thing Mousasi is apparently getting though is his requested fight on the UFC's September card in Japan.
So who will his opponent be? According to MMAPlanet.nl, it will be Roan Carneiro.
Carneiro (20-9, 3-3 UFC) returned to the promotion after a six-plus year absence to defeat Mark Munoz by submission at UFC 184.
