The UFC is reportedly attempting to make a historic last-minute change to the UFC 303 card on Saturday.
Per UFC insider Ariel Helwani, the UFC is in the works of a fight between Diego Lopes and Dan Ige rather than the scheduled event of Lopes vs. Brian Ortega. According to Helwani, Ortega is "on the verge" of withdrawing as he battles an illness.
Helwani also noted that Ige did not weigh in yesterday, so the last-minute switch would be highly unprecedented.
