It seems fans will have to wait for the superfight between arguably the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world and current Ultimate Fighting Championship flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and the two-time UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw.
According to UFC President Dana White, the fight is not happening after recent comments to the Los Angeles Times.
“It was never made. Plus, D.J. is hurt and out for a while,” White said.
Johnson broke the UFC record for most championship defenses (11) this past October with a fifth-round submission win over Ray Borg and is currently on a 14-fight winning streak.
