The consensus greatest female fighter in MMA history, Amanda Nunes, will defend her featherweight title against Megan Anderson at UFC 256 in December.
ESPN first reported the news, but the UFC is yet to confirm the title fight. Nunes said after her most recent win in June that she planned to take a break from the sport, but it’s clear plans have changed as she will instead return to the octagon for the second time in 2020 against Anderson.
Nunes (20-4) defended her featherweight title for the first time this June when she dominated Felicia Spencer to win a unanimous decision at UFC 250.
