Renan Barao glad his pre-fight focus is not on the scale

BRASILIA, Brazil -- Former UFC bantamweight champion Renan Barao is feeling great ahead of his clash with Phillipe Nover at UFC Fight Night 95, and that’s because he doesn’t have to worry about cutting all the way down to 135 pounds anymore.

Barao returned to featherweight in May, losing to Jeremy Stephens via unanimous decision. On Saturday night, the Nova Uniao fighter takes on Nover, and he feels "super fine" in Brasilia.

"No doubt at all, that’s not a problem anymore," Barao said during a media day on Thursday. "I’m feeling super fine.
