Rashad Evans issues statement, refuses to retire after second UFC fight cancelation - 'I'm 100 percent healthy'

It hasn’t been a good couple of weeks for Rashad Evans. After the former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight champion was yanked from his scheduled fight against Tim Kennedy at UFC 205 -- which was set to go down on Nov. 12, 2016, in New York City -- because of issues with his medicals, "Suga" was forced out once again after the match was re-booked for UFC 206 in Toronto, Canada, on Dec. 10, 2016.

That’s because he wasn’t issued a license to fight by Office of the Athletics Commission in Ontario because of ongoing irregularities with his MRIs -- or potential "brain damage" -- as Kennedy put it.
