'Suga' Rashad Evans is trying to find his way back to the winning track in the UFC. The fighter, now 36 years of age, returned from a near two-year injury layoff in October to battle Ryan Bader at UFC 192, but was unable to do much and ultimately dropped a unanimous decision loss.
Now the UFC light heavyweight is out to find his next opponent and opportunity to fight.
According to Ariel Helwani on UFC Tonight, Evans would like a bout with Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua next. One of Evans' managers, Ali Abdel-Aziz, reportedly tells Helwani he and Evans have formally asked the UFC for the bout.
