The rivalry between Jon Jones and Daniel Cormier is one of the most intense of all time, involving the greatest light heavyweight ever and arguably the greatest heavyweight ever.
Cormier has faced Jones twice and lost in both attempts, the first by unanimous decision back at UFC 182 in January of 2015 before being knocked out in their second bout at UFC 214 in July 2017, although the latter outcome was overturned after Jones tested positive for the banned substance turinabol.
While Cormier came up short in the cage against Jones at light heavyweight, he is also one of the most accomplished heavyweights of all time, sporting an undefeated record and having captured both the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand Prix and UFC heavyweight titles.
