Johnson called it a career after getting submitted by light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier Saturday at UFC 210. The news was shocking because Johnson is still one of the most dangerous men in MMA.
The 33-year-old said he was done getting punched and kicked in the face for a living. He didn’t disclose what he was doing next, but it didn’t take long for rumors to fly that he was headed to the Rams.
However, Johnson tried his best to dispel that chatter at the post-fight press conference.
“It’s just time to move on to something different,” Johnson said.
