Over the weekend, it was announced that Quinton “Rampage” Jackson will be facing Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal in a rematch at Bellator 175 on March 31st. But apparently, it was not something that the former UFC light heavyweight champion had in mind.
Rampage says he was actually offered a fight against now retired MMA legend Mirko Cro Cop. While no specifics of the offer have been laid out, Jackson believes it was a fight that could have been more attractive for fans.
“I think that would have been a better fight for the fans,” Rampage told Ariel Helwani during Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour (via MMA Fighting).
