Rachael Ostovich released from the UFC following three consecutive losses

Former The Ultimate Fighter competitor Rachael Ostovich has been released from the UFC following her latest loss to Gina Mazany in November.

Multiple people with knowledge of Ostovich’s release confirmed the news to MMA Fighting on Monday after an initial report from MMA Junkie.

Ostovich joined the UFC roster after competing on TUF in season 26 when the promotion crowed the first ever women’s flyweight champion. She earned a victory over Melinda Fabian in the opening round of the tournament but then lost a decision to Barb Honchack in the quarterfinals.
