Jackson knows exactly who he would like to face now that he’s back in the UFC. His hit list is exclusive and highly prestigious. In fact, two of them are former champions and one is the division’s reigning king.
“Honestly, I want to come back and beat everybody that beat me,” Jackson stated at Saturday’s post-fight press conference. “I want to fight [Mauricio] ‘Shogun’ [Rua], Rashad [Evans], Glover [Teixeira] and make my way back up to Jon [Jones]. That’s the honest truth.”
Interestingly enough, Jackson didn’t mention Ryan Bader. It’s no secret Jackson can’t stand opponents who wrestle him to death and that’s exactly what Bader did in 2012’s landslide unanimous decision win.
