Priscila Cachoeira will step in on short notice to face Luana Carolina Carvalho de Souza at UFC 237.
Cachoeira will replace Yanan Wu in the women’s flyweight contest. Combate was first to report the new booking. UFC 237 takes place at Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro on May 11 and is headlined by a strawweight title tilt between Rose Namajunas and Jessica Andrade.
Cachoeira took a brutal beating in her Octagon debut, losing to current flyweight queen Valentina Shevchenko via second-round submission at UFC Fight Night 125 in February 2018.
