On August 27, 2000 PRIDE 10: Return of the Warriors went down from Tokorozawa, Japan with the main event witnessing the iconic moment where Kazushi Sakuraba technically submitted Renzo Gracie, by breaking his arm with an insane spin around drop down Kimura. The co-main event saw the debut of the late Ryan Gracie, who dusted fellow new comer Tokimitsu Ishizawa in just over 2 minutes into the opening round. In somewhat of an odd outcome, Kazuyuki Fujita defeated Ken Shamrock by TKO due to corner stoppage, after what was a highly competitive bout up until the strange ending.
