“Stronger Than the World,” a film adaptation of Jose Aldo’s life, was initially scheduled for a December 2015 release. However, the longtime featherweight champion’s shocking 13-second knockout loss to Conor McGregor at UFC 194 put those plans on hold.
A new release date was revealed this week, and “Stronger Than the World” will now debut on June 16 — just three weeks before Aldo faces Frankie Edgar for the interim featherweight title at UFC 200 (Aldo vs. Edgar could be for the vacant 145-pound belt if Conor McGregor stays retired).
