President of Brazilian taekwondo federation rips Anderson Silva

Anderson Silva will no longer try out for the 2016 Olympic Games, and the president of the Brazilian Taekwondo Federation (CBTKD), Carlos Fernandes, is not happy about it.

Silva’s manager Jorge Guimaraes revealed on Tuesday that the former UFC middleweight champion has decided not to try out for next year’s Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Fernandes, who compared "The Spider" in the Olympics to winning the lottery, ripped the MMA star for changing his plans and not informing CBTKD.

"We didn’t receive any contact from Anderson. In fact, to be honest, Anderson disappeared," Fernandes told Globo Esporte.
