Porn star tries to screw Bellator MMA, files complaint over bloodborne pathogens

Adult film star James Deen was recently hit with multiple government citations -- courtesy of California’s division of occupational safety and health (Cal/OSHA) -- after his production company allegedly violated condom and safety laws, which may have exposed performers to risk of sexually transmitted infections.

In response, Deen filed a similar complaint against mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion Bellator MMA and its parent company Viacom, citing bloodborne pathogen violations.

"You can't pick and choose how to enforce the law," Deen said in today's release. "Cal/OSHA knows that section 5193 is not designed to protect entertainment workers. If the government is choosing to say that 5193 applies to the adult entertainment industry, then they are also saying that it must apply to all sports and entertainment.
