Welterweight contender Santiago Ponzinibbio believes he has unfinished business with the newly crowned champion of the division, Kamaru Usman.
A couple of days after ‘The Nigerian Nightmare’ dominated Tyron Woodley at UFC 235, Ponzinibbio took to Instagram to express his desire to be paired up against Usman once again.
Originally expected to take on Kamaru at UFC Fight Night 129, in Santiago, Chile, Ponzinibbio was forced out of the main event bout with an injury, which led to Usman getting a fight against Demian Maia, whom he defeated via unanimous decision.
Because of the injury and the withdrawal, Santiago still wants a crack at the now champion and wrote on his Instagram profile that he has pending issues with Usman.
