Piotr Kuberski delivered a highlight-reel performance in the headliner on Saturday, scoring a vicious third-round TKO over Tomasz Romanowski to capture the interim middleweight title.
After a relatively even fight during the first two rounds, Kuberski delivered a devastating onslaught of strikes late in the third. Romanowski covered up and continued to move, but there was little he could do to fend off Kuberski. With less than a minute left in the third, Kuberski pinned Romanowski against the fence and was lighting him up with a bevy of brutal strikes.
It was then that Romanowsk’s corner threw in the towel, stopping the contest and saving their fighter from taking more unnecessary damage.
