PHOENIX -- Ben Fodor's first World Series of Fighting win was an emotional one. The 27-year-old welterweight, better known by his crime-fighting alias "Phoenix Jones," submitted Roberto Yong on Friday night at WSOF 23, and afterward admitted that the road back from his listless promotional debut was one of the most challenging experiences of his professional life.
"I've had to figure out what it's like, for lack of a better word, to be a loser for a while," Fodor told MMAFighting.com. "That was the hardest thing, because I've told so many people who I am.
