A bout between a former champion and a rising prospect is headed to Bellator’s upcoming event in Israel.
Ex-light heavyweight titleholder Phil Davis is set to take on Vadim Nemkov, MMAjunkie reported on Saturday.
Davis (19-4, 1 NC) has won two in a row since losing the title last summer to fellow former UFC contender Ryan Bader at Bellator 180. “Mr. Wonderful” is coming off a knockout win over Linton Vassell and a decision over Leo Leite.
Nemkov (9-2) is coming off the biggest win of his career. In February, the Russian 26-year-old defeated former Bellator champ Liam McGeary via third-round TKO.
