UFC bantamweight contender Pedro Munhoz notched the biggest win of his career at UFC 235 when he knocked out former 135-pound champion Cody Garbrandt in the first round. Right after his victory, he immediately jumped over the cage fence and proceeded to have a brief conversation with Dominick Cruz, who was at the broadcast booth that night.
Apparently, such actions bear hefty consequences. Nevada Athletic Commission executive director Bob Bennett confirmed with MMA Fighting that Munhoz has been temporarily suspended pending a hearing or settlement agreement because of his post-fight behavior.
Munhoz may also face an extended suspension, which will be discussed at the next Commission meeting on Wedesday.
