Paul Felder’s father passed away just a week before he began his camp for UFC Fight Night 113.
Despite being pitted against one of Scottish MMA’s fan-favorites, Stevie Ray, “The Irish Dragon” scored a first round knockout when he landed a crisp elbow from the Scot’s guard.
Speaking after his big win, Felder claimed that his father’s passing had still not “set in” due to the busy schedule he had in the lead-up to the Glasgow event.
“I guess this is one that really hasn’t set in, just like him passing away,” said Felder at the post-fight press conference.
