Veteran British knockout artist Paul Daley (40-15-2) has been plying his trade at Bellator MMA since 2015. Prior to that he took fights in BAMMA, Cage Warriors, and the now defunct Strikeforce. All those appearances came after ‘Semtex’ received a de facto ban from the UFC for his conduct at 2010’s UFC 113: Machida vs. Shogun 2.
In his last UFC fight, Daley was controlled on the ground by Josh Koscheck leading to a unanimous decision defeat. But before the judges’ scorecards were read, and right after the final bell had sounded, Daley landed a punch on his opponent; prompting UFC president Dana White to announce his permanent ouster from the promotion.
