A pair of longtime UFC veterans has agreed to meet at UFC 210, as Canadian news channel RDS reported that Patrick Cote will take on Thiago Alves on the event. Later on, UFC officials confirmed the bout.
Former middleweight title challenger, Patrick Cote (23-10) found a home in the welterweight division where he managed to win five of his last seven bouts, with wins over the likes of Ben Saunders, Josh Burkman, Kyle Noke and others. His sole losses at 170 came by the hands of contenders Stephen Thompson and Donald Cerrone, the latter knocked Cote out in his last fight.
