Owen Roddy dismisses Tony Ferguson’s chances against Conor McGregor: ‘It’ll be lights out fairly quick’

Tony Ferguson has taken aim at Conor McGregor on several occasions since he claimed the UFC interim lightweight title with a third round submission over Kevin Lee in the main event of UFC 216 on Saturday night.

Most recently, “El Cucuy” appeared on The MMA Hour, and explained how he would haunt McGregor’s dreams as he chases him down for a title shot.

Conor McGregor’s coach Owen Roddy joined Submission Radio to give his reaction to the interim title fight. Although Roddy echoed his earlier sentiments about Nate Diaz being his preference for McGregor’s next fight, he agreed that Ferguson too would make for a great matchup for the Irishman.
