Misha Cirkunov needs a new foe for UFC’s upcoming pay-per-view event in March after Ovince Saint Preux has pulled out of the contest due to an injury, multiple sources told MMA Fighting.
Cirkunov, 14-4 as a professional fighter, is coming off a first-round submission victory over Patrick Cummins in October, bumping his Octagon record to 5-2. Cirkunov’s other UFC wins came in stoppages against Nikita Krylov, Ion Cutelaba, Alex Nicholson and Daniel Jolly.
Saint Preux went 1-2 under the UFC banner in 2018, with a first-round submission against Tyson Pedro sandwiched by defeats to Ilir Latifi and Dominick Reyes.
