Oscar De La Hoya signs multi-fight deal for comeback, targets ‘big’ name UFC fighter

After months of teasing a comeback, Oscar De La Hoya just announced that he will officially be coming out of retirement to fight on July 3.

Details are starting to come in, with ESPN reporting that it wouldn’t just be a one-off fight, as De La Hoya has signed a multi-fight deal with Triller. The July 3 event will happen in Texas, with the promotion’s CEO, Ryan Kavanaugh stating that it could happen at the AT&T Stadium. That’s the same venue where Canelo Alvarez vs Billy Joe Saunders is set to face off in April, with 80% capacity still amounting to 60,000 fans in attendance.
