Ronda Rousey could soon follow in the footsteps of Gina Carano.
"Conviction" was an undefeated mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter under the Strikeforce banner and known as "the women's face of MMA" back in 2009, until a violent technical knockout loss against a Brazilian "Cyborg" ended her combat sports career.
Likely for good.
Now, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight kingpin Jose Aldo believes Rousey will follow a similar path. Like Carano before her, "Rowdy" has been able to establish herself as an actress and celebrity outside the cage, which garners the same attention without all that punch-you-in-the-face stuff.
