Shinya Aoki can say goodbye to his nine-fight winning streak and his ONE Championship lightweight belt.
The Japanese fighter faced 32-year-old Eduard Folayang on Friday at ONE: Defending Honor in Singapore, attemping to make his third ONE Championship title defense. But things didn't go well for Aoki, as Folayang was able to avoid getting submitted, while landing heavy shots on Aoki and eventually get the technical knockout victory.
This defeat marks Aoki's first loss since losing to current UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez back in 2012 at Bellator 66.
