One Championship CEO Chatri Sityodtong likes what he sees in Sage Northcutt, the 23-year-old who signed on the Singapore-based promotion’s dotted line after a 6-2 run in the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
When Northcutt makes his One Championship debut sometime in 2019, he will do so on the strength of a three-fight winning streak. The Texan represents everything Sityodtong looks for in a fighter.
“Not only is he a phenomenal athletic prodigy, but he’s a true martial artist in the sense that he’s inherited the true values of martial arts through his years of training,” Sityodtong said.
