Despite speculation to the contrary, Jordan Burroughs is not helping Conor McGregor hone his wrestling ahead of UFC 229.
Over the weekend, rumors spread that Burroughs was going to be part of the McGregor camp to help the Irishman prepare for his lightweight championship bout against Khabib Nurmagomedov on Oct. 6. The Olympic gold medalist recently took to Twitter to squash that story.
“I’m not working with Conor,” Burroughs wrote. “I’m attempting to win a World Championship of my own in October. I wish him the best of luck in his upcoming title fight with Khabib.
