All Oluwale Bamgbose wanted was to get better alongside one of the best middleweights on the planet.
But according to him, Chris Weidman didn’t let that happen.
In mid June, Bamgbose made the trek to Long Island’s LAW MMA from his residence in The Bronx, N.Y. — about an hour away — in search of a new home. For the majority of his career, his home has been Class One MMA in Brooklyn, N.Y. The one problem with that is that he’s the only UFC fighter who trains there, so he’s not getting the level of training he needs to succeed in the Octagon.
