At the first mention of age, Joe Warren pounces. It's as if the former two weight-class Bellator champion has been waiting for someone to point out that he turns 39 in a couple weeks.
"I'm old, right?" Warren asked MMAFighting.com. "I don't feel old. The only time I even know my age is when writers bring it up before my fights."
Fair enough. But the age question came up simply because what Warren's managed to accomplish in his late 30s has been impressive. Long a tweener between featherweight, where he won Bellator gold in 2010, and bantamweight, Warren dropped back to 135 in 2013 and and stayed there, winning five straight fights, including an interim title win followed by an undisputed title in Oct.
