NSAC suspends Diego Brandao nine months, fines him $10,800 for failed drug test

When it rains, it pours.

Not long after Diego Brandao was released by Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) for his alleged involvement in a strip club altercation, which saw the featherweight contender try to enter a club in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with a gun, the Brazilian got some more bad news.

According to MMA Fighting, Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) suspended Diego for a period of nine months and fined him $10,800 (30-percent of his fight purse) after he tested positive for marijuana during a drug test that was administered back on Jan.
