NSAC expected to rule on Nick Diaz return to UFC at Jan. 12 meeting

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight Nick Diaz, who was slapped with a five-year suspension from mixed martial arts (MMA) after a wonky drug test at UFC 183, is one step closer to being reinstated by Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC).

In fact, the commission could rule as early as next Tuesday (Jan. 12, 2016), according to MMA Fighting.

That said, nothing is guaranteed, but the legal team of Campbell & Williams has done an admirable job of proving how NSAC went above and beyond its own authority to punish the former Strikeforce champ, who may or may not have been guilty.
