Officials announced Friday that Quebec-based fighter Nordine Taleb will fight Sean Strickland in a welterweight contest on the Oct. 27 event at the Moncton Events Centre in Moncton, New Brunswick.
This matchup pits two UFC veterans against one another, as both have compiled 6-3 records in nine Octagon appearances each. Taleb (14-5) is coming off of a first-round submission loss to Claudio Silva at UFC Liverpool, while Strickland (19-3) suffered a first-round knockout loss to Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos at UFC 224 in his most recent fight.
