UFC welterweight Nordine Taleb is out of UFC Fight Night 90 due to injury. Taleb announced the news on Tuesday via his Instagram and was later confirmed to MMA Fighting by UFC officials.
Taleb (12-3) was scheduled to meet Alan Jouban in the main card of UFC Fight Night 90, but was forced to withdraw from the fight after suffering an injury to his groin. The 34-year-old Taleb last fought at UFC 196 back in March where he earned a second-round knockout over Erick Silva.
Jouban (13-4) is also coming off a victory in March, defeating Brendan O'Reilly in the first round via technical knockout at UFC Fight Night 85.
