The brand new Japanese promotion, Rizin Fighting Federation (RFF) -- headed by former PRIDE FC president Nobuyuki Sakakibara -- held a press conference on Thursday morning (Oct. 8, 2015) in Japan to introduce some of the fighters on the upcoming New Year's Eve card to be broadcast on Spike TV.
Fedor Emelianenko was already announced as the headliner for the card during the Bellator 142: "Dynamite 1" broadcast on Spike TV, and while speculation has been looming recently as to who will face the Russian icon in the main event, an opponent was not officially named.
