Two of the best female fighters in the world will collide in the co-main event of UFC 232 in Las Vegas on Dec. 29, and Nunes’ training partner and fiancee Nina Ansaroff, a fellow UFC fighter, feels that more than a second belt is on the line for “The Lioness.”
Nunes has held the UFC’s bantamweight champion since a spectacular first-round submission victory over Miesha Tate in 2016. Now she will move up to 145 pounds to challenge Cyborg at the T-Mobile Arena.
If victorious at UFC 232, Nunes will not only become the first women to win two belts in the UFC, but Ansaroff believes Nunes will also cement herself as the greatest female fighter of all-time.
