Nick Diaz has to pay $75,000 to corner brother Nate at UFC 202

Although Nick Diaz is no longer suspended, the MMA fan favorite still owes the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) $75,000 after testing positive for marijuana metabolites in 2015.

Diaz passed two out of three drug tests on the night of his middleweight bout with Anderson Silva at UFC 183, but the 33-year-old was still suspended for 18 months and issued a $100,000 fine. Silva, who tested positive for anabolic steroids, was suspended for 12 months and received a $380,000 fine.

Diaz' suspension expired on August 1st but, according to NAC executive director Bob Bennett, the former UFC title challenger will not be able to corner younger brother Nate at UFC 202 unless he pays off the remainder of his fine.
